Organization: Osler Foundation
Title: Vice President, Philanthropy
Reports to: Senior Vice President, Philanthropy
Team: Six
Location: Hybrid. 20 Lynch Street, Brampton, Ontario
Compensation: $165,000 - $190,000 plus HOOPP, variable compensation, 4 weeks vacation and additional health and dental benefits.

You are a passionate, experienced health care fundraiser who sees philanthropy as a powerful force for transforming health care and strengthening communities. You are energized by the opportunity to build: build relationships, build teams, build pipelines and ultimately build philanthropic momentum. You are at your best when there is an ambitious goal in front of you and the opportunity to create something meaningful alongside others.
You bring a strong track record of major gift and campaign fundraising, ideally within a complex health care or academic environment, and you understand what it takes to move a donor from identification and cultivation through to a transformational gift. You are both strategic and hands-on: comfortable developing the big-picture fundraising strategy while also rolling up your sleeves to manage a portfolio, engage prospects, make the ask and close the gift. You are curious about what drives donors, willing to dig into the data and motivated to continually find new ways to grow the pipeline and expand the Foundation's reach.
You genuinely enjoy leading, coaching and mentoring high-performing fundraisers and believe that the best results come from a team working toward a shared goal. You are not a lone wolf. You bring humility, emotional intelligence and generosity to your leadership, sharing your expertise and creating space for others to succeed. You lead by example, follow through on your commitments and hold yourself and others accountable for results.
You are a natural relationship builder and community connector. You are comfortable working with donors, physicians, clinicians, volunteers, Board members and senior hospital leaders, and you know how to bring people together around a compelling philanthropic vision. You are particularly energized by the opportunity to engage new and diverse communities and understand that building a culture of philanthropy requires authenticity, cultural awareness and a genuine willingness to listen and learn.
