Title: Senior Director, Communications & Public Affairs   

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer  

Team: Three

Location: 1710 Dufferin Street, Toronto, with travel across COSTI locations. Hybrid policy in effect.

Compensation: $133,256 - $142,196 plus a comprehensive benefit and vacation package. This is a full-time non-union position scheduled to work 35 hours per week.

You have a deep understanding of the community services sector and policy landscape affecting newcomers, immigrants and refugees. You are a communications and public affairs expert. You have been directly accountable for developing and executing an integrated communications, marketing, and public affairs strategy. You have deep experience engaging diverse audiences and connecting organizational goals to its broader mission. You have a sophisticated understanding of reputation-building through strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and government relations.

You have been described as a compelling storyteller, a strategic thinker who has enormous capacity for work. You love your job and are deeply passionate. You are an inspiring speaker – comfortable with media and are well connected. Team leadership, coaching and mentoring a group of high performers is a joy for you. You have a clear and concise communication style – and are on top of trends and emerging technologies.
